Hafiza Arzuman is a medical graduate from Bangladesh and holds a Master’s degree in Medical Education from the University of Dundee, UK as well as Master’s degree in Public Health from Dhaka University, Bangladesh. She also holds PGDiploma in Health Personal Education from University of New South Wales, Australia and PGCertificate in Instructional Design Process from University of Dundee, UK. Dr. Hafiza has served the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW) of Bangladesh (1984 -2000). She was Educational Consultant of World Health Organization (WHO), Bangladesh and worked closely with MOH&FW for improvement of undergraduate and post graduate medical training of the country. From 2001 until 2017, she worked in different public and private Universities in Malaysia and was actively involved in Faculty Development Programme, teaching and supervision of undergraduate and post graduate medical students. She was the resource person/facilitator for more than seventy national and international faculty development programmes. She was also the facilitator for Ethics Teachers’ Training Course organized by UNESCO in different countries. She is actively involved in social science and health science research having multiple publications in national and international journals. She is also a member of many professional organizations. Her areas of interest include Curriculum Development, Teaching Skills, Assessment in Medical Education, Learning Environment Research Methodology and Public Health. Currently she is working as a part time Professor of Public Health at TMSS Medical College, Bogura, Bangladesh.
