Mr. Saquib Ahmad Khan is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science and Management at the School of Environment and Life Sciences, Independent University, Bangladesh. He holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Management and a B.Sc. in Population Environment, both from the same institution.
Mr. Khan’s research focuses on water quality monitoring, environmental toxicology, and climate change adaptation. He has published studies on Turag River pollution, local tobacco toxicity, and bio-adsorbents for industrial wastewater treatment, contributing to peer-reviewed journals.
He has served as Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator on projects addressing inclusive sea turtle conservation, indigenous community climate adaptation, and urban water quality assessment.
Mr. Khan was part of the Trans4m-PH Project, an Erasmus+ initiative supporting transformative public health education with partners including Maastricht University and the Institute of Development Studies, UK. He is currently involved in the ACCESS4ALL Project, a southern-led Erasmus+ program promoting climate change education and green skills, implemented in collaboration with BRAC JPGSPH, United International University, Maastricht University, and Heidelberg University.
He has also facilitated disaster risk reduction training and contributed to curriculum development in integrated water resources management.
