Md. Shahadat Hossain

Md. Shahadat Hossain is retired public servant. As a member of Bangladesh Civil Service (Family Planning) he ended up his three decades of career as Director (MIS) & Line Director (MIS-FP) under Directorate General of Family Planning in 2023. During his long career he had number of international trainings in Thailand, Indonesia, Viet Nam, Norway, China, Malaysia. He earned a Diploma in Demography from Cairo Demographic Centre, Egypt. He is one of the Research Fellows in Social Science Research Council, Ministry of Planning, Bangladesh. After retirement he worked as consultants with UNFPA and USAID.
