Dr. Samiha Yunus has been working in the field of public health for more than 15 years in Bangladesh. She completed MBBS and MPH at the University of Dhaka. She also earned her professional certification from University College London (UCL), London, UK, in the Qualitative Research Methods in Health Course. She has expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, gender responsive program design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and knowledge management. She gathered experiences in senior-level positions in different INGOs (Jhpiego, Save the Children, Plan International, icddr,b) and managed funds from different development partners like USAID, UNICEF, WHO, UNFPA, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, DFID, US CDC, and others. Dr. Samiha has also worked with different government stakeholders for policy-level influencing and advocacy efforts. She has also co-authored different publications in academic journals. Now she is working as the lead of the immunization and surveillance program in Jhpiego Bangladesh.
