Trained public health professional and social scientist with PhD in Health Social Science ( AMR and Medical Anthropology), Master in Anthropology, and Master in Disaster Management with around 15 years of national and international research experience in public health, Planetary Health, One Health, digital health, AMR, infectious disease epidemiology, non-communicable diseases, health emergency, environmental health, climate change and health, nutrition, and gender in development and humanitarian contexts. Currently working as a Research Advisor at SAFETYNET Bangladesh. Previously working with UNICEF Bangladesh, WHO Switzerland, icddr,b, Fleming Fund, Mahidol University, BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, and BRAC. Experiences of working with the Ministry of Health and Family Planning, Bangladesh Food Safety Authority, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, FAO, WHO, USAID,USCDC, FCDO, Fleming Fund.
Served as an expert for improving the course curriculum of Bachelor and Masters programs in the Department of Anthropology of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology and Comilla University, Bangladesh.
